Our high school life journey has about to end so I would like to grab this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all the teachers and administrators for their sacrifices to make us better and good person. To all the parents who work so hard in their entire life for us to graduate and fulfill our dreams and most importantly this batch, batch 2013-2014 for the long lasting memories and the precious gifts of friendship. 

Four years ago, I still remember my first day in entering in high school. I’m so scared and nervous that day, maybe because I'm not yet familiarized with the new environment and the different types of people I've encounter every day. I’m just a freshmen before that only knew is to play and have some fun but now take a look, I've change for the better because of the knowledge shared by our teachers and also because of the different trials of life that I went through.

High school for me is the most interesting part of my life, where I have my first dance to my first crush during our junior’s ball, where I have to make an alibi to escape my parents if I think they are already over protective to me and if I want to have some fun with my friends and classmates. 

I don’t know what exactly I feel to this graduation because I’m happy and sad at the same time. I am happy because I'll graduate and start the new chapter of my life and I can pursue my dreams, sad because I need to say goodbye to my classmates, teachers, friends in this school and of curse to this school also but no matter happens I will not forget them because they became part of my life but always remember that each end of any chapter of our life there is also a new beginning.

My Dream, My Future

Dreams are one of the reasons why we continue to fight the challenges we face in our lives because dreams serves as our motivations in our lives to face all the trials that will to us.  Everybody has their own dreams, aspiration, or prospects in life that someday they will achieve.

            When I was a kid I was impressed and amazed to the teachers like my aunt that is closed to the kids and to her students because she’s treating her students as her own child, she’s a great mentor to her students inside and outside the class and she is also giving some advises about the other stuff, such as family problems or love life so when I was still in my younger age my dreams in life is to be a successful and distinguish teacher like her someday then I will earn money to travel abroad and do some work there as a teacher and when I fulfill that dreams I can already support my family financially, this is my way to thank them for their sacrifices for me to graduate and have a better future and I will assure that I will give them also a beautiful and luxurious future.

But before that I have to study hard to graduate, listen to my parents, and be patient, brave and strong enough to face all the challenges or problems that will test the boundaries of my capability to overcome my fears.  For now all I want is to graduate and find a job as a teacher for our better future.

         Many changes are happening in our lives because of the challenges that we encounter or come into our lives.  People change when they are hurts, committing mistakes and learning from their mistakes.

            People are changing to bad if they can’t accept the changes in their lives but if they can accept and allow the changes to their lives they will become good examples to the others.  When we change all our negative attitude and bad doings we can be a good leader and role model to our own country.  But before that the change will starts us, we need to be a good follower to be a good leader and role model. First we need to follow and obey all the rules of our leaders in our country.  This country faces problems like poverty, crimes, corruptions and crisis because of the greediness and selfishness of people they are not already following the rules of our leaders and those problems may lead our country down so we need to change for the progress and unity of our country.

            If you were able to change yourself so with the whole world can rise when there is unity in the heart and soul of everybody because nothing is impossible when there’s a good leader and unity, together we can save the whole world.

            Ilocos Sur is a very religious, progressive and an investor friendly province.  Many beautiful sights and tourist spots can be found only here in Ilocos Sur such as Calle Crisologo, Syquia Mansion, Bell Tower in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Balaurte, Mindoro Beach, Heritage of Vigan, Vigan River Cruise, Dancing Fountain and many more. We have also many delicious foods like what we called Bagnet, Empanada, Longganisa and others.  We also regularly celebrates various festivals like Binatbatan Festival, Longganisa Festival and the festival that we just celebrate last January 29 to February 04 the what we called kannawidan Festival.

            This Kannawidan festival is the fiesta of the province of Ilocos Sur that showcase the culture and traditions of Ilocano’s and promotes the products of Ilocos Sur such as Burnay, Abel, food products and others.  Kannawidan Festival is a long weekend celebration and this was started last 2008 by the leadership of Vice Gov. DV Savellano and just continued by Gov. Ryan Singson because this is a big help for the Province of Ilocos Sur and for the growth of tourism.  Many different activities were performed under Kannawidan Festival such as Saniata Ti Ilocos, Saniata Ti Ilocos is the beauty pageant of Ilocos showcasing the aqua and agricultural products of Ilocano’s, different concerts and many different artist were performed in every night and many more.

            Our leaders now are concentrating on tourism and because of the Kannawidan Festival the industry of Ilocos Sur were develop and the number of tourist that coming here every year were increasing and this helps the livelihood of our countrymen and our leaders said that they will continue the good work for the progress of our Province.

New Year, New Me

New Year, New Me

           

                    People say when New Year come people should change, people should change not just their physical appearance but also their attitude. That’s true we should really change our bad habits we have for our goods as well as the others.

                     Actually I do not believe in New Year’s Resolutions because anytime, and anyone can change as long as their hearts know the true meaning of change and they can accept that changes in themselves without any hesitations or doubts in their hearts. Last year I became unconcerned with my grades, not learning so well and always postponing the work that I can do right now but now I’ve changed because now I want to improve my studies and grades for me to graduate and fulfill my dreams in life. If before I’m just helping my parents occasionally with the household chores not now because it’s more often and because of that my parents and I was drawn more to each other.

                     Now I just want to continue the good qualities that I have and change the bad habits for I am not going to hurt the feelings of the others because of the bad habits I have.

3rd Grading Reflection

                 In the past grading period the knowledge and experiences I have was added and it is also elevated because of the help of my friends, classmates and of course the great teachers of ISNHS.

              3^rd grading period was done, at that time I admit that I learned just a little because I’m too busy practicing volleyball for the competition for the city meet and because of that I’m not always able to attend my classes in different subjects but somehow I still learned a little bit.

               This next grading period I'll promise to myself that i will pursue my studies and try to participate in the discussions of our different subjects and i will attain my grades to fulfill my dreams.

Essence of Christmas

               The essence of Christmas.  For the Filipinos it is the long awaited celebration to welcome the renaissance of Jesus Christ.  It reminds the Christians or believers of Jesus Christ to have a change of heart because Christ comes again.  Christmas symbolizes hope because the word incarnate becomes man like us.  

              The Christmas celebration proves and shows the faith and love of mankind to Jesus Christ, true God and true man as the savior of the whole world.  Christmas is the time to rejoice, to thank God for giving us his only begotten son, it's the time to be good, to be generous, to be loving and to be united to God our creator.  

               I love Christmas because it's the best sign that God really loves us.  Be loving and generous like God.
